Description

Build tiled roofs in Blender with two native Geometry Nodes workflows: Flat and Pitched, and Dome and Spire. Start from seven prepared roof setups or explore three complete building compositions.

Included

  • Two Blender project files: Setups and Examples.
  • Twelve clean source tiles across Wood, Stone and Ceramic materials and four shapes, plus an eleven-object Ceramic Damage Mix.
  • Packed 1024×1024 base-colour, normal and roughness textures.
  • Getting Started guide and six silent videos: three building turntables and three full control demonstrations.

Shape and finish your roof

Adjust tile amount, overlap and row offset. Curved-roof controls include radius, height, midpoint width, spire mode, upper tile sizing and a separate cap object. Use a single tile object or a tile collection; custom meshes may need origin and orientation preparation.

Compatible supplied shaders provide colour variation, roughness, normals, edge wear, AO, moss and UV controls. The included buildings are example meshes, not a procedural building generator.

Requirements

Use Blender 5.1.2 with Cycles. No add-on installation is required. Extract both archives and follow the guide. Other Blender versions and render engines have not been verified. Keep source collections and materials with the node setup when moving it between projects.
