Documentation (history)

"SS Marschiert in Feindesland", also known as "Teufelslied" ("Devil's Song") was a Third Reich marching song used by the Waffen SS. The song encompasses elements of heroism, loyalty, anti-communism and patriotism that are presented over a rhythm of typical German music.

The song was modified several times, due to the course of the war. Originally, his handwriting referred to the banks of the Volga River in Russia, and later to those of the Oder River on the German-Polish border, where heavy fighting took place in 1945.
