383 close-up photos of hands: fists, gestures and tense poses, plus grips on a staff, pen, phone and glass. Female and male hands.

Hands are the thing everyone hides behind their back. This pack is 383 close-up photos of hands in the poses you actually need for characters, shot at full camera resolution so every knuckle and tendon is there when you zoom in.

There are fists from every angle, open, spread and relaxed hands, pointing, thumbs, counting and OK signs, and a run of claws and tense, expressive poses. Then the grips: hands wrapped around a wooden staff (think sword or spear), holding a pen, using a smartphone and holding a glass from above, below and both hands.

Female and male hands

The set includes slender female hands and broader male hands, so you can see how the shapes change and pick the right one for your character.
