Feature Update!
Update time!
As usual the team has been very busy these last few weeks improving stability, fixing bugs and beefing up security for Cubebrush to make sure we keep offering the best possible service.
Now, while all of those things are important, they're also mostly invisible to you when browsing the site.
What's NOT invisible are all the other new features we're introducing this week so let's take a look at what's new on Cubebrush!
Improved Comments
Our previous comments system was fairly basic so we've made some big changes to how you'll interact with others moving forward.
Replies
You can now reply to a reply on a product, finally.
Thumbs Up / Down
You can now vote on comments, bumping relevant and helpful ones to the top of the comments stack for better visibility and pushing unhelpful ones down.
Comment Sorting
You can now sort comments in 3 different ways:
- Top Comment - The comments with the most "likes" are pushed to the top
- Newest First - The most recent comments are pushed to the top
- Customer Reviews - Comments from verified customers only are showed
Verified Customers
When commenting on products you've purchased, a new badge will now show next to your name indicating to others you're a verified customer, along with any rating you might have left for that product.
Improved Ratings
Product ratings are an important part of online shopping and we've made a few key improvements to help both guests and creators find and develop better products.
Exact rating
Adding to our star rating feature, you can now see the exact rating for a product when you mouse over the star icons, or when you expand the new rating dropdown menu.
More Ratings
If you've purchased a product, the next time you visit that product's page you'll be prompted to leave a review, making it more convenient to let others know what you think of your purchase.
New Video Player
Watching video content directly from your Cubebrush Library is now better than ever with our new video player allowing picture-in-picture mode, video speed settings, captions whenever available and more.
AirPlay
The new video player supports AirPlay so you will now be able to stream the video content from your Library to supported devices (smart TVs, Apple products).
Resume Playback
When streaming videos from your Library, playback is now saved so you can pause your videos and resume them later, automatically picking up right where you left off. It's also a great way to keep track of which videos you've already watched.
