ABOUT THE CAR The Porsche 917K is the racing car developed by Porsche for the Sport category. It evolved from the 917 and became the first Porsche to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in 1970. Its 4.5-litre flat-12 developed roughly 600 hp at 8,400 rpm. The 917K also won Le Mans again in 1971 — one of the most legendary endurance racers ever built.
