The Rural Life Collection | ISSUE 2: Jules Breton

From farmers and village scenes to fields, animals and everyday work, each issue shows rural life through the eyes of a different artist.

This product was inspired by Jules Breton (1 May 1827 – 5 July 1906). He was a 19th-century French naturalist painter. His paintings are heavily influenced by the French countryside and his absorption of traditional methods of painting helped make him one of the primary transmitters of the beauty and idyllic vision of rural existence.
