Few artillery pieces symbolize the sheer power of early 20th-century siege warfare like the Škoda 305 mm M.11 Mörser. Designed to level fortifications and break enemy lines, this massive Austro-Hungarian howitzer played a pivotal role in both World Wars. As a 3D artist with a passion for historical military engineering, I set out to bring this legendary weapon to life in the form of a highly detailed, 3D-printable model.

The Creative Process

Reconstructing this icon of heavy artillery required deep research, piecing together historical photos, blueprints, and technical descriptions to ensure a faithful and printable model. The M.11’s complex recoil system, and robust construction demanded careful attention to detail while balancing printability for resin setups.

To make this model accessible and visually striking, I focused on:
