Hispano Suiza - I.A.R CV 11 engine
Some time ago, I started a project that’s especially dear to me—a 3D model of a little-known Romanian aircraft, the I.A.R. CV 11.
Due to limited time, I had to set the project aside for a while, but not before making significant progress on the airframe and engine. In fact, the engine came together so nicely that I turned it into a small desk ornament—something to keep on my worktable as a constant reminder of the aircraft and its story.
The I.A.R. CV 11 is a piece of aviation history that deserves to be better known, and I hope to be the one to help bring that story to life through this model.
Model Features: ✔ Historically inspired, high-detail design ✔ Optimized for resin 3D printing ✔ Modular parts for easy assembly ✔ Available in multiple scales ( 1/48, 1/32) ✔ Perfect for display, dioramas, or custom paintwork
Disclaimer: Please note that, due to the limited availability of historical references from that era, there may be differences between my interpretation and the actual engine. If you have access to more accurate or detailed documentation and would like to support a fellow creative, I’d be grateful if you reached out and shared that information.
3D printing settings While I always strive to print and test every model before release, due to limited time, I haven’t yet printed this exact revision of the engine. However, I have successfully printed earlier versions at various scales and made several improvements based on those tests. If you encounter any issues or errors, please don’t hesitate to contact me—I’ll do my best to address and correct them as quickly as possible.
