This pack contains 180 high quality studio reference portraits exploring expressive arm and hand gestures under colourful studio lighting.

Created as an extension of my earlier Arm Gestures reference pack, this shoot revisits the same idea of dynamic, gestural posing but with a far more dramatic lighting approach. For this session I worked with multiple coloured lights in a range of combinations including blue, red, green and yellow, shifting their placement throughout the shoot to create very different moods and silhouettes.

Some portraits are softly backlit with glowing edges, others are lit from above or illuminated from below, creating bold shadows and striking colour contrasts.The pack also includes 20 experimental portraits using slow shutter speeds and neon lighting, creating motion blur, layered figures and abstract movement effects. The lighting variations give artists a wide range of reference for studying form, gesture and dramatic colour interaction on the figure.
