This is a modified version of original Verners Pantons chair design.

Blender version used 2.49b

Render-Yafaray 0.1.1

Model contains of three types of chairs. Rough, Sub, Smooth. All them together contains 1340571 verts.

Base model is quad polygons.

Each of them is exported seperately in OBJ and LWO formats.

In Blender

Model rough is a result of experiment of some external mesh modeler (modifier). Model sub (subsurf) - Subsurf modifier added in Blender. Steps=3 Model smooth - The same subsurf modifier plus smooth modifier with

Repeat value of 10.

In 3ds Max

Verified .OBJ import

Model rough looks the same. Model sub can be achieved with adding MeshSmooth modifier, Iterations=3.

Dont know how to achieve Model smooth (smaller holes).

In LightWave

Verified .LWO import.

Model rough looks the same. Model sub can be achieved with adding Subsurf faces modifier.

Dont know how to achieve Model smooth (smaller holes).
