    Do you play call of duty? So you should know VTOL and spend some time in this vehicle. In this tutorial, we recreate a VTOL, Bring it to the unreal engine, and try to have some COD moments. to follow this tutorial correctly, You should have basic knowledge of these software. (18.5 Hours)

    Tutorial Contents:

    Modeling

    +16 hours of the modeling process in 3ds max. Everything is clear, and you can follow up quickly on the modeling process. First, we prepare a proxy mesh from reference, and after that, we will go for the details. In this tutorial, we try to create and use a mid-poly version of Vtol.

    Unwrapping & Texturing

    • 20 hours of unwrapping in Rizom UV and Texturing in Substance painter and Photoshop.

    For Vtol, we try a different workflow for texturing due to the big size and complex shape. Using Mask workflow with special our Master Material in Unreal Engine gives us a flexible and clean result for this project. we use different techniques, Mask workflow, Color Decal, Baked normal, and so on...

    Rendering

    • 3 Hours of Preparing and Rendering the Vtol in the unreal engine. In this chapter, we prepare models as a blueprint actor, setup materials with basic materials, and Mask master material. we use a very efficient and easy method of lighting.
