Set of Freeman Maple Trees (Acer freemanii)
2 different Freeman Maple (Autumn Blaze) trees in the scene. Acer × freemanii, Freeman maple or Freemans maple, is a naturally occurring hybrid maple that is the result of a cross between Acer rubrum and Acer saccharinum. Wild specimens are found in eastern North America where the parent species overlap. Acer x freemanii arguably has the best fiery autumn color of all Maple trees suited to the British climate. The attractive, deeply indented yellow-green spring foliage turns green in summer before the vibrant red, orange and yellow autumn colors appear. Autumn Blaze also boasts silvery-gray bark that contrasts wonderfully with the foliage.
