Russian WWI Bebut Kindjal Short Sword M1907
Russian WWI Bebut Kindjal Short Sword. The kindjal was officially adopted by the Imperial Russian Army in 1907. Designated the M1907, it was intended as replacement for the longer and more cumbersome shashka. The M907 Bebut saw extensive service throughout World War One. Features an unsharpened high carbon steel blade. The grip is made of two pieces of hard wood sandwiched around the blade tang and double pinned through. The guard is brass.
