Drawing Practice Kit 1: Cube, Sphere, Cylinder
Mastering the basic shapes is one of the most important skills for every artist. You may have found instructions online that show you how to draw a cube, a sphere, and a cylinder, and the instructor ended the lesson with the words, “Now you can draw anything you want!” But you can’t, right?
Because just knowing how to draw them is not enough if you want to be able to draw anything you can imagine. The next step is to understand how these basic shapes exist and move within 3‑D space and be able to draw each shape at any angle or in any position. That is the goal of our first Practice Kit.
It contains everything you need to practice the basic shapes in any position:
- PDF with instructions
- Explanation and video visualization of rotation patterns
- Practice templates
- Videos visualizing all possible positions of each shape
- Blender source files
- A guide to drawing/painting fundamentals
Practice can be done with pencil and paper or digitally. If you need software to open the PSD files, the free painting software “Krita” for desktop or “Sketchbook” for mobile can open the files.
You will get 3 files
All files previously purchased will always be available for download in your Library
