Description

Create worn, glowing and tinted window panes with a native Blender Geometry Nodes and shader setup. Adjust the glass and its dirt layer separately, then vary the finish across your windows.

Shape the appearance

  • Glass centre colour, opacity and roughness.
  • Optional glow with separate centre and edge controls.
  • Edge tint and an independent dirt overlay.
  • Scratches, speckles, ripples, cloudiness and frost.
  • Metallic mirror and reflection controls.
  • Per-pane variation and consistent world-scale detail options.

Included

3DT Window Glass Geometry Node.blend, with five window collections, a lantern example and the Automatic Glass setup. The supplied images are packed into the file, including the scratch mask.

Getting started

Use Blender 5.2. Open a copy of the file, select an example glass object and adjust its Automatic Glass modifier. Start with glow off and moderate roughness when inspecting subtle surface details. Append the objects and their dependencies into your scene when ready.

This is a native Blender tool, not a game-engine shader package. Check the finish under your own lighting and renderer. Fine scratches and speckles can shimmer in moving viewport previews; tune their strength for your shot. No separate product add-on is required.

Choose the appropriate Cubebrush licence for your intended use.
