Documentation (history)

Combat medics (also known only as medics) are servicemen who were trained to provide "first aid" and trauma care at the front line of the battlefield. They are also responsible for providing ongoing medical care, in the absence of actively available doctors, including care for battle sickness and illness. Combat Doctors are normally co-located with combat troops, as they serve to facilitate movement with the troops and monitor the health in progress of these military personnel in battle.
