Inspiring!
Q. In one sentence, explain your journey as an artist from the beginning
I was once standing on the edge of abyss , i tripped, started falling and I am still falling.
Q. Some always do characters, environments, what drives you to the kinds of models you do?
I have always been interested in design and engineering. I started as a 3d artist doing all kinds of models including character but soon realized that I was only getting a kick out of hard surface models.
Q. What do you think is the biggest game changer for 3D modeling that has yet to be invented?
No doubt this is going to be CAD to SUB-D conversion. It's kind of unrealistic to expect this to happen in the nearest future but a man can dream.
Q. Top 3 pet-peeves?
Stupidity. Chewing with mouth open. Animal cruelty
Q. Viewport background color, dark or light?
Usually light, but I think it's a great idea to switch it up at night so your eyes don't get tired
Q. How did creating tutorials come about?
I saw other artists doing it and couldn't help it. From time to time I accumulate knowledge in this or that area and I like to share it with other artist because I think it helps move the industry forward.
Q. What's the most important non-art-related tip you can give to aspiring freelancers?
Always set your hourly rate right.
Q. What big project are you working on now/next?
I am currently working with Boss Key on LawBreakers, coming out this year. On the personal side of things I want to create the biggest and baddest kitbash set ever, sell it, get rich, retire, buy an island, invite a bunch of people to it and start experimenting with their DNA to breed half humans half animals and take over the world.
