Better Blend offers more blend modes, additional functionality, and bug fixes over the default option. It’s a blend node that actually works!

Substance Designer has some blend modes that don’t match Photoshop's behavior, it lacks certain key blend modes, stores a select few into separate nodes without greyscale support, and has unexpected deviations in its masking function.

The blend node is one of the most used, if not the most used, nodes in Substance Designer. Having a better one will make a difference.
