What Will You Learn In "Rigging Unleashed"?

Here are the main features we'll implement in this course.

• Full Body Squash and Stretch - enable extreme cartoony deformations for your characters!
• Soft IK - Soft IK is not easy to demonstrate with a GIF. But you'll feel it when you animate. Without soft IK, the legs will overextend and "pop" and you'll have to constantly correct the pose to fix it. Soft IK saves the animator a lot of work.
• Additional Isolation Mechanisms - more improvements that will pay off by saving you animation time.
• IK Fingers - for when you want to pin the fingers, rather than the IK hand.
• Smooth Foot Roll - for a more natural foot lift 
• FACE: sticky controls - the shapekey controls follow the mesh exactly for intuitive face manipulation 
• FACE: Sticky Lips - more realistic lips behavior
• FACE: Wrinkle Maps - make your character's face even more expressive

How are Rigging isn't Scary and Rigging Unleashed related?

If you're new to the "Rigging isn't Scary" and "Rigging Unleashed" course series, here's a quick recap:

"Rigging isn't Scary" is a beginner-friendly rigging course divided into 3 levels:

• Level 1: Rigging Basics for Absolute Beginners

• Level 2: Rigging Fundamentals

• Level 3: Intermediate Rigging (Serious rigging starts here! 😊)

The full "Rigging isn't Scary" course is available for free on YouTube.

"Rigging Unleashed" picks up right where Level 3 leaves off and dives into more advanced techniques. You can think of it as Level 4 of "Rigging isn't Scary".

Now, technically, Level 3 is still part of "Rigging isn't Scary", but together with "Rigging Unleashed", it forms a logical whole. That’s why I’ve made the "Rigging isn't Scary - Level 3" videos available for download as part of this course.

However, for most students, I highly recommend starting all the way from the beginning (Level 1) to ensure we’re all on the same page when moving into the more advanced parts of the course!

Will this course become free in the future?

I understand that this question may come up because "Rigging isn't Scary" was released for free.

The short and clear answer is: No.

"Rigging Unleashed", as most of my other courses, is only be available for purchase.
